This beautifully renovated 2 bed 2 bath home built in 1950 sits in the heart of the McKinney Historic District, walking distance to the quaint historic square with the best restaurants and shops in the city. A sweet and special, low-tox setting for your next girls’ weekend or family trip. The space The cottage’s living area and kitchen are open concept with a fully stocked kitchen, cute retro fridge and a large TV with Roku and access to all major streaming services. One bedroom boasts a queen bed with a newly renovated, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a beautiful antique full-size bed, and across the hall is a full bathroom with brand new walk-in shower. All finishout details were handpicked for a charming and unique, cozy home-away-from-home experience. Brand new hardwood floors throughout, fully renovated bathrooms and a brand new HVAC system. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. All pots/pans/utensils/etc are provided. Organic coffee, tea and sweeteners are available along with an electric kettle, pourover and frenchpress. The backyard hosts a quaint, covered seating area to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The large, fenced in backyard is perfect for outdoor games! This is a low-tox, fragrance-free rental! We use all non-toxic cleaning products (Branch Basics) for general cleaning needs as well as laundry and dishes, and we provide detergent and dishwashing pods during your stay. All hand soap is Branch Basics, and shower items are Public Goods brand. The cottage has an AirDoctor air purifier with regularly changed filters. Laundry detergent is provided, and we ask that you please refrain from using any fragranced laundry products :) Guest access A code to the front door will be provided to you one day prior to your arrival. There is one parking spot in the driveway and one spot directly south of the property. This is a shared private drive, so please be respectful of the other cars in the alley. Other things to note We live 2 blocks from the cottage and will be available to help with anything during your stay. While we encourage you to have a great time, please be mindful of our neighbors! Please follow all cottage rules listed on the kitchen bar. No large parties, no pets, and no smoking. Thank you!
