Nestled along the picturesque banks of the Mississippi River, our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath Prairiedise Cabin retreat promises an unforgettable experience in the heart of the enchanting Driftless Area Feel free to launch your watercraft at the nearby public access boat launch within walking distance of the property. Adequate space for a truck/trailer on the property Prepare delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with all the amenities you need to whip up your favorite dishes. The space The Prairiedise Cabin retreat has 2 bedrooms equipped with beds, linens, a ceiling fan, 2 windows, a dresser, and a hanging closet. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with linens and a playpen for infants and toddlers. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin-sized mattress on top and a full-sized mattress on the bottom as well as 2 sleeping pads with linens located under the lower bunk. Guest access You will be provided with an access code through the AirBnB portal to access the cabin. You will have access to the home's interior, outside deck, firepit area, shaded picnic table area under the cabin, and the private pier. Guests are not permitted in the locked storage areas adjacent to the deck or the pump room under the home. Other things to note The Prairiedise cabin is in a Protected Wildlife Area. Wildlife is abundant including routine sightings of bald eagles, herons, storks, geese, ducks, and a wide variety of birds and other wildlife such as beaver and deer. Fishing is excellent right off the dock. The islands in the river are within paddling distance of the cabin and have amazing sloughs to explore so feel free to bring kayaks or a canoe. Take a walk on the paved road with water on both sides and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature. There is private gravel parking on both sides of Ambro road.
