The space The Carriage House has a full luxury kitchen, complete with all of the kitchen essentials you need to get unleash your inner gourmet chef. The dining area has built-in banquette seating and chairs, accommodating 4 comfortably. Locally roasted coffee beans, hand selected by your host, will be provided during your stay for use in the Miele superautomatic espresso machine. Gourmet French teas from Dammann Freres are also provided. TV's are available in the living room, entertainment room, and the bedroom and include YouTube TV, Netflix, Peacock, and other streaming services. Internet is provided by 1Gbps fiber optic service and is super fast. There is a dedicated work area in the bedroom which includes a large monitor, camera, and ring light so that you have a place to work if needed. The bathroom has heated floors and features Le Labo bath products. Towels are Giza 45 Egyptian cotton from Abyss + Habidecor. Robes are also provided. In the bedroom, you will find a queen sized bed with luxury Frette Italian sheets, Yves Delorme comforter, and a cashmere blend blanket from the local Maine textile maker, Swans Island. A queen-sized air mattress is available in the closet which can be used for 2 additional guests if desired, or they can sleep on the large sectional sofa. Additional pillows and linens are included in the closet for use with either the air mattress or the sofa. Thoughtful amenities are included throughout the property, and the host will provide a welcome amenity based upon guest preferences (which will be confirmed ahead of arrival). Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor patio area. Other things to note This property was painstakingly restored and renovated over the last 2 years. The entire home was taken down to the studs and redone with luxury and comfort in mind. Originally constructed as a carriage house in 1900, it now serves as a modern and updated guest house waiting to welcome you.
