The space The house was built in 2021 and is located on 8 acres along the edge of a large hayfield that abuts the West Branch of the Carrabasset River. There is a large covered porch off the back of the house and bedroom balcony both perfect for enjoying nature and the sunrise. There is a fire pit for s'mores and picnic table. Plenty of open space for lawn games and outdoor fun. The house has an open concept with lots of natural light and views of the field and woods. There are radiant floors and a woodstove to keep the house cozy in the winter. The functional and well stocked kitchen has a large pantry and gas stove. Half bath on first level. Upstairs you will find an open loft for games and TV, 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths (en suite). There is a washer and dryer near the bedrooms. There is fast wifi but its also a great spot to relax offline. The garage has ample space to hang gear and leave boots to dry. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the house and property. The driveway can easily accommodate 3 cars. Guests should not park in the garage as it is used for storage and we try to keep it clean and dry. The garage can be used to store bikes or skis. Other things to note The house has a spiral staircase for access to the second level (bedrooms) so is best suited to children over 5 years old and adults who have good mobility. The driveway is a right of way through our neighbor's property so please be respectful by driving slowly. There is a farmer who hays the large field near the house and may occasionally be on site.
