However, it's essential to note that there is no ATM in the village, ( there is ATM in Panajachel, San Pedro, San Marcos, Santa Cruz) and most places do not accept cards, so make sure to bring enough cash. While the beaches on the east shore of the lake are public and accessible, it's essential to note that Jaibalito, like most of Guatemala, can be noisy and dirty.
