The space We designed this cabin with relaxation after a wonderful day outside in mind. ****INDOOR --Kitchen: Fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking and eating utensils so you can cook up a good dinner. Has a 2 burner cooktop, microwave, frig, and Keurig. But if you don't feel like cooking, it is only 3 miles to the Gateway Family Restaurant. --Living area: Comfy recliner loveseat, cozy lighting, and a Smart TV. --Full Bathroom: hot shower, linens provided. (: --Bedroom queen bed, linens and bedding provided. --Loft The loft is a cozy little reading nook with books and games provided! If it rains during your stay, no problem. Get cozy with string lights and a good book next to the window. Or play checkers with your bestie! "This is the nicest cabin I’ve been to, my husband and I especially loved the loft which we built a Lego set in and the hot tub that we stargazed in." The loft is also a great place for children to sleep. We are advertising this as a 2 person cabin, but if you have a couple of children who would enjoy sleeping in the loft, bring some bedding for them and bring them along too! We love to see children getting outside and experiencing nature too. It's excellent family time. *****OUTDOOR --4 person hot tub --picnic table --firepit (wood can be purchased on site) "Upon returning from our adventures, we very much enjoyed the back yard of the cabin. They have a with an awesome spot with a fire pit, hot tub, and picnic table to relax at. The string lights also add to the atmosphere. We will DEFINITELY return!" A trip to the mountains is not complete without a campfire and hot tub time, is it? (: BONUS FUN FACTS If you are a guest who loves details, here's some interesting history about the site the cabin sits on. (: This cabin is situated on the old railroad bed that went to Spruce Knob back in logging days. When you are at the cabin, you will see what looks like an old unused road going out through the trees from the picnic area. This is the old railroad bed. We even find an old railroad spike occasionally! We have included a few railroad-themed pieces of decor in the cabin. And, up in the loft, you will find some books about the history of logging in this area. If you are a history lover, check those out! We are thankful that it has been a while since they logged the red spruce trees on Spruce Knob because it would hurt the natural beauty of the area. But still, the history from when they did is quite fascinating. Guest access You will have access to the entire cabin and surrounding woods and yard area. There are a couple bins in the bedroom closet that are marked "cleaners only". Other than that, the place is yours. (: Other things to note In the snowy time of year, you should bring an all-wheel-drive vehicle. ------- Note: We require all guests to sign a rental agreement as part of the booking process. Once you've made the reservation through Airbnb, you will receive a message with a link to a form to fill out and sign. The terms you will be agreeing to are outlined below. -The person registering the unit is responsible for all damages to the property by your party. -Inventory will be taken after each stay, and missing items will be billed to the person that registers the cabin. -A security deposit hold of $300 is required. -Check-in time is anytime after 4 pm; check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. -To avoid additional cleaning fees, please leave the property neat and clean upon departure. -No smoking inside; leave no evidence of smoking outside. -No pets allowed. Eviction without refund if pets are discovered on premise. -No discharge of fire arms, fire works, or other explosives. --No loud or disruptive behavior, abuse of alcohol, or drug usage will be permitted. -There will be no house keeping services during your stay except by request for an additional charge. -There will be no refunds for hot tub issues. -Members of staff or management may enter the premises for the purpose of inspection and verification of maximum occupancy at anytime. -We will not be responsible for any injuries to anyone in your party or loss of property for any reason. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this agreement, and that you agree to hold the owners of this property harmless in the event of any injury or loss while you are on the premises.
