My place is close to The Illinois River. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. The space This is one of my favorite cabins! The big open space with vaulted ceilings and a big rock fireplace all in the same room. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, mugs, cups, silverware. It has a large refrigerator, little stove, wood butcher block and coffee pot with coffee filters. The bathroom has a standup shower with a small sink. The TV is hooked up to a DVD player so bring a favorite movie to watch. The Guest Ranch is a old church camp from the early 1900's along the Illinois River. Easy walking distance to the river with fishing and taking in the serenity that mother nature has around you. This setup is exactly what you want if you need to get away and relax from all the hustle of everyday life. Don't be surprised to see a black bear, turkey, white tail deer, raccoon, skunk, possum or a rare sighting of a mountain lion. Guest access All cabins have a lock box with a code to access the key to get inside. Other things to note This is a rustic cabin! We are located near the Illinois River. Sometimes you will find a few dead insects but to be expected for the location. We have cabins sprayed for bugs but just want everyone to be informed. The location is ideal to be near the river.
