Great place to "un-plug" from the world and get back to basics! Sit around and cook over the campfire or on the Park Style Charcoal grill. Bring your sleeping bags or air mattress and spend the night in the screened in Lean-To. The space Old overgrown apple orchard that now is the site of this secluded Campsite. We also have a converted off-grid bus! Bus can be seen here.... airbnb.com/h/oldappleexpress Buckfield is located in the Oxford Hills region within nearby proximity to numerous hiking trails, Oxford Plains Speedway, Oxford Casino, local restaurants & shopping all within 15-30 minutes in Norway/South Paris & Lewiston/Auburn. However right in-town there is a store as well as a local pub. Guest access You will have access to the campsite, Please do not disturb guests at the bus as this is a separate site. Other things to note Camping in Maine...comes with the expected insects, variable weather,etc. We have a privacy shade as well as a screen on the front of the lean to so that should reduce the impact of mosquito's etc.
