Welcome to our tranquil lakeside house in Milton, Delaware! We're delighted to host you in this serene getaway where you can enjoy the beauty of nature, explore the charming town of Milton, and indulge in local attractions like the famous Dogfish Head Brewery and nearby beaches. We are also a short driving distance to both Sports at the Beach and The Turf. For travel health providers, we are about 17 minutes to Bayhealth (Milford) Hospital and about 20 mins to Beebe Hospital, traffic depending. The space Here's everything you need to know to make the most of your stay: Location: * Our Airbnb is nestled by the picturesque Diamond lake in Milton, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere on a rustic wooded lot. * Dogfish Head Brewery is less than a mile away, where you can experience delicious craft beers and brewery tours. * The beautiful beaches of Delaware, including Rehoboth Beach and Lewes Beach, are within a convenient driving distance, perfect for a day of sun, sand, and salt water. * Milton boasts a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops, allowing you to explore the local culinary scene and local beach culture. * Comfortable Bedroom(s): Master bedroom has a king bed and lake view, with master bathroom with large shower. Two other bedrooms each have two single (twin-size) beds. All bedrooms have a closet and chest of drawers. * Fully Equipped Kitchen: Coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, stove/oven, fridge, and dishwasher. Kitchen includes 2-seat counter, skylight, desk area, and window seat with lake view. * Separate dining area includes table with 6 chairs. * Two living room areas, one with view of the lake and backyard and one with large windows looking into the front yard. Games, books, and TV (Roku, sign in with your own account). * Outdoor Space: Back deck with gas grill, outdoor dining table and chairs overlooking the lake. Screened-in gazebo connected to deck with skylight, electrical outlets, and dining table that seats 4. The gazebo is a great space to work remotely or spend time outside while being protected from the elements. Direct access to the lake. There's a bulkhead at the lake's edge where you can drop a kayak in (bring your own, no boating license required). * Wi-Fi: Stay connected with high-speed internet access throughout the property. * Parking: Whether you're traveling solo, with family, or friends, you'll have peace of mind knowing there's ample parking available right in the driveway. * The house is 1 floor and there are no stairs between interior rooms. There are no stairs to get to the back deck from the kitchen or rear living room. There are stairs to get down from the deck to the backyard and lake.
