Overlooking rolling meadows, the retreat was once a beloved Girl Scout camp but is now newly renovated to provide modern comforts while preserving its nostalgic charm. Accommodating up to 16 guests, this spacious retreat offers comfort, adventure, and the promise of long-lasting memories! The space NOTE: If the Antler Lodge is not available on the dates you selected don't worry, we have two other cabins on the property for you to check out!! The Songbird Tiny Home (sleeps 4) and Secret Haven (sleeps 4). Let me show you around: The Antler Lodge is your ideal retreat for comfort, connection, and adventure. Completely powered by solar energy, this eco-friendly haven allows you to enjoy modern comforts while treading lightly on the environment. The lodge boasts a grand living area, featuring a stunning stone fireplace, cozy leather accent chairs, and expansive windows that showcase breathtaking forest views. Gather with loved ones in the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for sharing meals and memories. With (4 BEDROOMS), including a luxurious master suite with a KING BED overlooking a picturesque landscape, every guest will enjoy privacy and comfort. The lodge also offers (3 BATHROOMS), uniquely designed to meet any needs you or your group may have. Step outside to embrace the great outdoors! Whether you're in the mood for activities, games, or simply relaxing in nature, the property has something for everyone. The Left Wing: (2 Bedrooms 1 bath) -Bedroom 1: 1 queen 1 twin bed -Bedroom 2: 1 queen 1 twin bed -Bathroom 1: Bathroom One is the largest, almost double in size of the three, with a handicap accessible generously large walk-in shower, toilet and vanity. The Right Wing: (2 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms) -Bedroom 3: 1 queen bed -Bedroom 4: 1 KING BED (master suite) -Bathroom 2: walk-in shower, double vanity, toilet -Bathroom 3: Bathroom Three is closest to the master suite and the most secluded of the three. It has a tub-shower, toilet and vanity. Kitchen / Dining / Living room: -fully stocked kitchen -bar area for serving food or drinks -large dining table that seats 8 -additional tables & chairs in a closet nearby -2 sleeper sofas in the living room -1 sleeper sofa to the right of the entry -Large gas fireplace -Books and toys -washer & dryer (laundry detergent not provided) Outside, discover a range of activities: Play pickleball in the nearby dining hall, hike scenic trails, fish or kayak in the nearby pond (catch and release), or simply relax on a blanket under the swaying trees. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit for stargazing and storytelling. We also have toys, books and even a swing set for the little ones! Although secluded, we are only a short drive from Shipshewana's famous flea market, Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury, The Barns (formerly Amish Acres) in Nappanee, and Goshen College in Goshen. And of course, it's a great place to stay for those Notre Dame football games in South Bend. So you've got that perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. The outdoor games are also share. (first come first serve) We ask you please be respectful to your fellow travelers. -Unauthorized Parties are STRICTLY PROHIBITED! A large fine will be charged on top of any damages or additional cleaning. -no pets -no smoking -no Wi-Fi -We don't provide a tv but if you wish to bring your own, we certainly don’t mind! -We do not provide fishing poles or bait Where to find the outdoor games: In the Dining Hall overlooking the meadow. This is also where the pickleball court is located. CAUTION: Please stay off the ice if the pond freezes! There are multiple streams running through the pound making the ice, if there is any, very fragile.
