Our home is located walking distance from the mile long Montara State Beach. We are also within walking distance to a network of trails on Montara Mountain that provide amazing views of San Francisco, the Pacific Ocean, and the Half Moon Bay coastline. There are two great coffee shops/restaurants; Gherkins Sandwich shop and Sage Bakehouse, and a gas station with a market off the highway, but otherwise about as rural/coastal as it gets. The space Located just blocks from the beach, our Montara Home offers wifi, mountain views, tranquility, outdoor patio seating with a fire pit. Outdoor shower, gas grill and driveway or street parking in a quiet neighborhood. Our home is bright and airy with an open family room, dining and kitchen on a quiet block. The bathroom has a shower tub combo and there is an outdoor shower for those of you enjoying the surf or sandy beaches. We also use it to rinse sandy feet from the beach since we like to keep the sand outside as much as possible. The house has forced air heating as well as a gas fireplace that turns on with the click of a light switch. Our home is good for a solo adventurer, and business travelers. This is not a party house. Sleeping arrangement: front room. Bedroom 1 has a comfortable full-size modern canopy bed, bedside table and desk. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Surfboard storage available, as are 2 cruiser bikes to borrow. There is an outdoor grill available and propane ready for use. No parties. Guest access Relax in the house bed/bath and garage. Shared kitchen with owner when she is home. Full kitchen, large living space with 14' ceilings, During your stay We will make ourselves completely available via phone, text, and/or email if not on premises. Other things to note Our great room has a theater sound system which makes watching movies or sports great fun. We have a Netflix, Hulu, and Apple+ account which guests are welcome to use. A beach cruiser, paddle board, and boogie board are available for use if requested, but transporting gear needs to be available by guest.
