Welcome to your home away from home! Enjoy a spacious suite that includes your own living room, master bedroom with king-size bed, private en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and separate entrance. The accommodation also includes a shared laundry, kitchen, and small dining nook. My home is also pet friendly, so I do welcome guests with a well-behaved dog/cat for an additional fee. I look forward to meeting you, and I hope you enjoy your stay in the beautiful Southwest! The space The home is centrally located near the Farmington High School neighborhood. You are minutes away from shopping, restaurants, hikes, parks, a hospital, and churches. Although the house is located on a busy street, you have access to private parking on a circle driveway that provides easy entrance and exit. Farmington is truly the perfect location for anyone seeking adventures in the Four Corners Region. Durango, Moab, Monument Valley, Bisti Wilderness Area, and Navajo Dam can all be enjoyed during a day or weekend trip. Your personal living room offers space to enjoy your morning coffee, read, or put together a good puzzle. During the cold months, you can enjoy a toasty fire with the wood burning stove. Exercise equipment, your individual pantry space, and the shared laundry are also in the living area. The shared kitchen includes all cooking appliances, dishes, and cookware available for your use, in addition to individual counter space, two drawers, and a large cabinet. Your spacious bedroom features a king-size bed, sitting area, desk, and TV. Although the en suite bathroom is small, its adjoining walk-in closet has ample storage, shoe rack, laundry basket, and a tall cabinet. Bed linens and towels are provided. Dog Friendly My three dogs stay in my area of the house. However, they are used to other dogs as I have fostered dogs for over 10 years. I do have a cat who has her own room but roams my living room for short periods of time while I am home. There are two large pet gates that separate your suite from my section of the home. For guests with a dog, the large, fenced backyard can be accessed through your suite’s living room. Guest access Your private entrance has keypad access with a code that changes after each guest's stay. Your master bedroom door also has a lock and a key for personal security. During your stay I am on site at the residence and can be accessed by phone or in person. When I am on vacation, a designated family member or friend will be residing at home and available for any of your needs.
