The space Our quaint studio provides a comfortable home-like atmosphere perfect for a relaxing and quiet getaway. Inside, you'll find a spacious retreat featuring a luxurious king bed and a cozy adjustable queen bed. Your retreat has a private entry and private bathroom for your convenience. Warm up by the electric fireplace or whip up a quick snack in the kitchenette, complete with a coffee bar stocked with all the "fixin's" for your morning brew, mini microwave, a small hot plate to use to cook if needed. And full size refrigerator. Entertainment options include a 65" flat-screen smart TV equipped with YouTube TV, so you can catch up on your favorite shows or stream content from your streaming accounts. Stay connected with free Wi-Fi and make use of the designated work desk if you need to attend to business matters. Something that is very important to us is a clean and sterilized place. I take great pride in my accommodations being very clean and sterilized after every guest. ALL bedding and blankets are cleaned after every stay. Bathroom is completely sterilized. As is the kitchen, floors and tables. Guest access You will have access to the lower level of the home. It is in studio form. You can relax and unwind on the private covered porch, equipped with two rocker chairs with small table for drinks. A gas grill for cooking your favorite bbq or gather around the fire pit for a cozy evening under the stars. Other things to note We are located close enough to enjoy all that Lancaster Co has to offer; for example, Kitchen Kettle, American Music Theater, Rockvale & Tanger Outlets, Strasburg Railroad, & Green Dragon Market. There's plenty to see and do in the area. Explore the popular hot spots like Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Dutch Wonderland, and the Amish Farm & House. Don't forget to take a leisurely drive along the back roads to experience the picturesque countryside dotted with horse-drawn buggies and roadside produce stands. Which are a great treat with all the baked goods from the local Amish woman who make them fresh daily. Please remember to be respectful of the Amish religion during your visit, as they do not permit photographs. With easy access to the PA Turnpike and Route 222, (about a 5 min. drive for both) you're just a short drive away from Reading and Lancaster City, making The Oaks the ideal home base for your Lancaster County adventure.
