You are in the woods on 10 acres on a Lake enjoying the views, wildlife and making lifetime memories with family and friends in this Rustic Alaskan Log Home located just 13 miles South of Talkeetna. Three separate bedrooms, all with their own private bathrooms. Additionally there is a loft sleeping area with two twin beds, an air mattress and a pack-n-play crib. Two Bikes and a Peddle Boat await you! The space The living room, dining room and bedrooms all have views of the lake. There are balcony's off 3 of the bedrooms to enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in nature and the lake views. There are 4 steps up into the Lodge with the living area, kitchen, dining and half bath on the main floor along with one bedroom and king size bed and private full bathroom. From the main floor there are stairs leading down to the laundry and stairs leading up to the open loft area where there are two Full Size Beds, perfect for children or young Adults. At each end of the loft area are two more master Bedrooms each with King size beds and attached private bathrooms. The loft also includes an air mattress and a foldable pack and play crib if needed. There is a steep trail down to the lake with a Peddle Boat and a one man Pontoon Boat which are available for use, by Adults only. Life Vests are available and Required. We also have a fishing pole or two available at the Lodge for use on the lake which is stocked with Rainbow Trout. Fishing licenses are required and familiarity of the local regulations. Additionally there are two bikes for use. The Lodge sits on 10 wooded acres. There are 14 miles of Bike trails leading from The Spur Hwy. all the way into Downtown Talkeetna, 13 miles north of our property. We are located within walking distance or ride one of our bikes to The Alaska Birch Syrup & Wild Harvest Shop near by and only 1 Mile to the local grocery store and great Pizza and Brew @ The Denali Brewing Company off The Spur Hwy. Or drive 15 minutes into Downtown Talkeetna and great fishing and sight seeing. Guest access You will have complete privacy at our lodge. The main floor and upstairs Loft area are available to you, as well as the downstairs Laundry Washer and Dryer. There is a downstairs apartment that is included on our other listing which includes the entire Lodge Rental and three additional beds. This listing excludes the downstairs attached apartment. That apartment also includes Lakefront views, 3 more beds, a full kitchen and a 3/4 bath. We only rent to one group at a time so you will have the entire property to yourselves. The apartment will not be occupied. Downstairs there is a freezer for your fish, if that is what brought you to Talkeetna. Feel free to store your frozen fish in there. No Fish processing or Game Processing allowed on site. The garage is on the bottom level but not available for use other than storing your Sealed Garbage bags into the trash cans provided. Do not leave Food or Trash outside as it will attract Bears. The shed on the property is not accessible. There are two pedal bikes for use on the 14 miles of biking trails surrounding us. Carry bear spray and bear jingle balls! There is a Peddle Boat and a One Man Pontoon Boat for your use, Adults only and life vests are available and required. You assume all risk. Do not leave children unsupervised out of doors, near the water or the firepit. There are wild animals in Alaska so please always be Bear Aware, and Moose aware too! We want you to be safe and enjoy your stay here! Other things to note Other things to note: No Fireworks are allowed anywhere on the property or Lake. Quite hours are 11 pm to 8 am. We are on 10 acres however there are neighbors on either side, please be mindful. No fish processing is allowed at the Lodge or on the property. No game processing either. If your fish is processed offsite you may bring it back to store in the freezer onsite if the fish is properly processed and vacuumed sealed. Local Fishing Charter guides will process and freeze your catch for you too. There are fishing guide services in Talkeetna as well as restaurants and a Brewery. We are situated on 10 acres so feel free to wander or cross Country Ski in the winter. We are located about 10 miles from downtown Talkeetna which is an adventure to experience! Just be bear aware and moose aware too when out of doors. Do not leave children unattended out of doors. Adult supervision required. Carry pepper spray and bear jingle balls when outside. We have a pedal boat and one man pontoon boat available for use by adults only. Life vests are supplied and required. We also have two bikes available for use for the many miles of bike trails we are adjacent to. Additionally, using the fireplace, fire pit, Bikes and accessing the Lake, using any watercraft and the required floatation devices as well as being out of doors in general all carry their own risks and vigilance in following the rules and awareness of your surroundings at all times as well as adult supervision of children is necessary and required. You assume all risks. Wild animals live in and around the woods so children should not be allowed to roam free without adult supervision and the necessary precautions to be able to fully enjoy this property and Talkeetna, Alaska safely.
