Steers Place is our tiny farm home that remembers our 2000lb fur baby fondly with pictures and memorable touches. This home is a simple 480 SQ FT home nestled in the side of the pasture just next to Johns Mountain. Simple front porch that will share amazing sunrises and sunsets from John's mountain. Come and enjoy a Hobby farmers dream. The space Welcome To Steers Place! Nothing shabby about this adorable sheik farm lodging. Very open studioesque space offers a queen bed with a full trundle and pull out twin bed to comfortably sleep four. A fully appointed kitchen with standard size appliances and great counterspace with eat in bar allows plenty of room for cooking up your favorite meals- Just bring the groceries! There is a Dollar General 2 miles away, and Calhoun restaurants/shopping at approx 8-10 miles. Enjoy coffee and/or your favorite beverage in the front porch rocking chairs overlooking the peaceful landscape while the sun woos you to start or end your day. Warning – Cows or Donkeys may stop by to say Hello. There is a full bath with shower and also a washer and dryer to keep things clean. Dishes, utensils, towels, soaps and paper goods are provided and if anything is missing we can probably make it available. There are always animals or persons on the property, but our guests have their dedicated space with private access, sharing only the driveway. While available for any questions or needs, we will leave choice of meeting and personal contact to you unless we see any activity that endangers any animal and/or property. Please only feed the provided treats and understand all liability on pasture side of fence rests with guests as these are live animals bigger than you and can be unpredictable. We want you to enjoy your stay, however long, so please let us know any needs, questions or concerns. Guest access Guests have 100% private access to Steers Place with private entry and designated parking but shared driveway. Property is available for Guests to enjoy, walk and visit animals but Guests must stay out of fenced pastures unless accompanied by Host(s). Other things to note Dogs are welcome and Guests are asked to keep leashed and under control unless Host is notified otherwise. There is a chocolate lab on the property who does not get along with other dogs. For protection to all, please contact Host if you would like to have him put inside. All animals are loved and should be, the $5 pet fee is donated to the local Gordon County Animal Shelter.
