Stay in an apartment right over Charles E. Fromage Bistro. Our bistro is intimate, but grows during the summer with patios and rooftop concerts. As our guest, you will enjoy a complimentary beverage of your choice at the bistro. The apartment consists of a large sitting/bedroom with a king bed, a second separate bedroom, a newly redone bathroom, and a full kitchen with new appliances. In the heart of Washington Heights Neighborhood, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping are steps away! The space You will be in one of two units that sit above Charles E. Fromage Bistro. The space has a new bathroom with a shower, an eat-in kitchen furnished with all kitchen essentials, and beds for up to four. One bedroom is completely private with a generous, full mattress brass bed, and one bedroom is a lovely King-sized brass bed that adjoins the sitting area. You will have use of one off street parking space in the back of ther building. You will enter at the front of the building, which is also the rooftop patio for the bistro. Stay onThursday nights during the summer and you will have a concert on your front porch! No worries about the noise, though. We close at 10PM each night, so the rooftop will be your own private space after that. Our property is on West Vliet Street and steps away from Valentine Coffee Roasters, Neighborhood Draft Restaurant, WyEast Pizza and Biersal Tavern. Shopping enthusiasts will have many choices including Barcelona, Spruced 57, Vista 59, Rainbow Booksellers, Swoon, and Luce to name a few. We are west of downtown, but a short uber drive away. We also have a bus stop right out front that will take you straight to the heart of the city if you like to use public transit. A drink token will be awaiting you, so plan on dropping in the bistro at some point during your stay. We think it's sorta sweet. Guest access Check in time is 3:00. If you would like to come sooner, please contact the hosts to make arrangements. You will be given a code to access the front door. Guests have access to the unit and the rooftop patio. If we are open, please come as our guests as you would at any other establishment. If we are closed, the rooftop area and patio are yours to enjoy. Have your morning coffee overlooking West Vliet Street. Enjoy a nightcap on the patio. Our staff will have access to the basement during your stay, so please keep the emergency exit door locked at all times to ensure your privacy. Only use the front door during your stay. Check out time is 11:00AM. Other things to note Parking Restrictions: Depending on the days you stay with us, you may need to park on the street in order for the garbage trucks to access our dumpsters. We will inform you of the potential need to street park when you arrive. Ample, free street parking is available within steps.
