A mystery awaits you! Our unique and peaceful home is set on a quiet street lined with tall oaks. The old charm of the beautiful woodwork and tall ceilings and the clean new updates make this a great place to gather or relax. Located in a quiet neighborhood close to Southwestern College and Downtown. The space This 5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home was built in 1926, renovated in 2000, and again in 2023. The many rooms, tall ceilings, beautiful staircase and original woodwork make for a uniquely charming home. This property contains two separate sleeping areas, which can make it great for two couples or families. The house has three thermostats for zoned heating and cooling to make sure everyone is comfortable. The private master bedroom (bedroom 1) with a luxury king bed and 50-inch television is located on the first floor. Across from the master bedroom is a full bath with a walk-in shower. The small window- lined bedroom (bedroom 5) with a twin-size bed is also located on the first floor. Upstairs are three more bedrooms and a bath. The upstairs master bedroom has a king bed and television, while the other two bedrooms have queen size beds. Feel free to use the large kitchen to cook or simply dance. The Google speaker is ready to receive your musical requests. The fully equipped large kitchen has beautiful wood counters, coffee-tea bar, two sinks, stove, refrigerator/freezer, and a dishwasher. It is equipped with cookware, dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. The home invites you to unwind. You can recline in the living room equipped with a 50-inch television or enjoy a book in the sitting room. Gather with friends around the dining table or the additional table in the sunroom to play games or enjoy a meal. Sip some tea on the front porch or sit around the fire pit on the lighted patio area should you want to relax outside. The home is equipped with wifi and Roku television. This will allow you to safely use your streaming services in our home. A washer and dryer is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen on the first floor. This is our family's home which we enjoy when visiting Winfield. Therefore, everything you need should be there. We have worked to create a clean, well-maintained home for anyone to enjoy. As grandparents we are child and teen friendly but are unable to host your 4-legged friends. Winfield is a hidden gem. Most of all, we hope you can relax and enjoy Winfield as much as we do. Guest access Guests will have entire use of the home, with exception of the basement and the barn. Other things to note Please note the master bedroom and bath on the main floor requires that the guest navigate an additional step and the luxury bed requires a step up. This is a quiet neighborhood. We ask that guests keep their noise levels down from 9:30 p - 8:00 am. We do not allow smoking on the premises and do not allow pets.
