Welcome to Chalet in the Ferns. Just 4 miles from Seven Springs Resort, this charming house seamlessly blends rustic allure with modern comfort. Inside, the interior welcomes guests with warm wood accents, hand hewn beams, a stone fireplace, and large windows. With a brand new kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms, every comfort is ensured. Step outside onto the deck to soak in the fresh mountain air or gather around the outdoor fireplace for evenings filled with stories and laughter. The space Come unwind and relax at our mountain getaway. Recently lovingly renovated and restored with style and comfort in mind. Families can spread out between the spacious common areas both inside and out. The main living room features a comfortable seating area with an 85 inch 4K TV. It is perfect for a family movie night or watching the big game. There is a game table which works great for family games, puzzles and extra seating. The cabinet by the game table has a variety of books and games you are welcome to use during your stay. The spacious dining room has 6 chairs and a long wooden bench to easily accommodate all 9 guests. There is a coffee bar with some regular coffee, decaf, an assortment of teas and hot chocolate mix to to make you feel more at home with some simple pleasures. The brand new kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and everything you might need to create a meal while you are busy creating memories. All of the beds have high quality hybrid mattresses, with crisp white linens, down comforters with duvet covers, several fluffy pillows and extra quilts to snuggle up with. Outside you will find multiple spaces to enjoy including a large front deck where you can relax and embrace the quiet, a small private outdoor balcony off of the large bedroom upstairs, a large backyard concrete patio, and a gazebo near the pond with a café table and chairs. The back patio has a beautiful outdoor fireplace surrounded by comfy chairs and a sofa to hang out on, a grill, and a small outdoor table for outdoor dining. Bed/Room Details: Bedroom 1: Queen size bed, private bath, located on the first floor so there are no stairs. Bedroom 2: King Bed, private seating area with gas fireplace, upstairs outdoor balcony. Bedroom 3: King size bed Bedroom 4: Bunk bed. Top bunk is a twin and bottom is a double. Guest access The entire property is yours to explore. The smaller house on the property is not yet finished and therefore locked and not open to guests. In the house are a few locked cabinets where we store supplies but nothing that should impede your use of the space. The driveway can comfortably fit up to 5 cars. Please avoid parking on the street as it is narrow. Other things to note Our home is on a quiet road, right off the main road to seven springs so it is always plowed in the winter and we have the driveway plowed after every snow. That being said it is a sloped driveway so please take caution during the winter. Four wheel drive usually isn’t necessary but could prove valuable in winter in case of severe snow. The noise carries further in the woods then you would think so please be respectful of our neighbors and abide by quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. We generally find the temperature to be cooler on the mountain than nearby surrounding areas, especially overnight, so feel free to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. To make sure you are always comfortable we have mini splits in all of the bedrooms and main rooms for both AC and heating purposes. The mini splits are located throughout the house in main areas and every bedroom. We have a gas fireplace in the dining room and one in the large upstairs bedroom for you to use for added warmth and ambiance. We are located in the woods, so there are a fair number of bugs and critters outside who would love to get inside. We have screens on all the windows and a regular pest control service to manage that. - NOTE: We provide only a small amount of firewood for the outdoor fireplace to get you started for. More can be purchased at several of the local stores nearby. NO PETS NO Smoking or vaping in the house
