Two queen bedrooms, one full bath, living room and deluxe kitchenette on a private floor with a private entrance of a shared house. Hosts live on upper floors with separate entrance. No shared indoor spaces. Rustic and peaceful setting, but only 5 minutes from I-87 and close to many event venues. Great place for couples, friends, and/or a small family to relax before and after an event, or a home base to explore the mountains and the river. Dog friendly! The space This guest suite is designed and furnished with the comfort of our own family and dear friends in mind, and we hope you feel that level of quality and care when you stay here. We want this to be a space for people to celebrate, relax, and just hang out with your friends after some adventures. No need to worry about towels, dishes, or sheets here - just enjoy yourselves! • Adjustable AC and heat in every room • Hand-made bar • Quality kitchenette including a 2-burner induction stove, countertop convection oven, full refrigerator and freezer, toaster, espresso maker, set of good knives, and a full suite of cookware, utensils, glassware, etc. You could make a Thanksgiving dinner in this kitchenette. • Fiber-optic Internet • Laundry room access with utility sink for washing dishes if needed (not required) Guest access • The upper two floors of the house are our living space; we're available if you need anything. • The deck is a common area, including use of the gas grill and Blackstone griddle • The fire pit is for your use, let us know if we can provide firewood or even get a fire started for you before you get back from your event • We back onto 100 acres of preserved forest, so hike to your heart’s content • The barn and other outbuildings are not perfectly safe, so guests are not permitted to tour them without one of us being present
