Historic 1860s Stone House
Our beautiful historic home on our working goat farm is a perfect place to stay while exploring Loudoun County! Just over an hour from DC and Baltimore, close to many wineries, breweries, restaurants, and wedding venues in a peaceful rural setting. The house is split in two, one half is occupied by our family, the other is for you! Guests have a private entrance, 4 bedrooms, a morning room with a kitchenette and cozy couch, and a beautiful front porch for drinking coffee. The space This house was built in the 1860s and has been occupied by the family since (the property has been in the family since the 1750s!). Huge windows and beautiful plasterwork, original wood floors, and antique carbide lamps give the house its unique historic charm, but AC and baseboard heat and Wi-Fi make for a comfortable stay. You’ll also find many antique books and decorations in the rooms that are original to the house! Entrance to the house is through the beautiful front porch with outdoor dining and rocking chairs with a view of the pond. Inside on the first floor is a beautiful entry way, and morning room with a full kitchenette including coffee and tea, water cooler, mini fridge, and microwave. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch in good weather or cozy up by the propane fireplace insert in the morning room on cooler days. One bedroom is on the first floor with a queen bed and its own full bath, a good option for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Upstairs on the second floor you’ll find two bright, sunny rooms with queen sized beds (one with a half bath) and a shared full bath. The third floor has a queen bed and two twin beds along with it’s own full bath, a great spot for a family with kids. Our family lives in the other half of the house, please respect all doors marked “private”.b Sorry, no pets allowed Guest access Guess have access to the front porch, front lawn area, and a quick hop across George’s Mill Rd will take you to our beautiful 3 acre stocked pond. The pond has a mowed walking path around it and a dock for fishing (catch and release only please). Stop in the farm store to purchase cheeses, gelato, soaps, pork and caramel all made here in the farm, plus local veggies and crafts- it’s open 24/7! The farm next door is a working farm so for your safety access to the farm and visiting the animals must be arranged with Molly separately
