Decaj is a large, airy and very comfortable villa nestled in the rolling landscape of the exclusive cap estate area with beautiful surrounding views of the north and west coast of St Lucia, the Island premier championship golf course and is close to the historical pigeon island and national park. The Caribbean sea, several beaches and the 18 hole golf course are only a short drive away, as are the lively towns of Rodney bay and Gros islet if want to venture out for some evening entertainment. Decaj is located in an elevated quiet and idyllic area of Cap estate which is at the northern tip of St lucia, with views from the first floor patio that are simply amazing. It is quite simply as close as you will get to peace on earth. During 2014 the owners of Decaj completed a refurbishment program that included considerable upscale renovation and refurbishment both inside and out, Decaj has a 25ft pool that has been completely renovated.  There is a myriad of places to sit, eat and drink at Villa Decaj – a number of which have beautiful views. you can choose from the pool patio sun loungers, the hammock located in the elevated gazebo overlooking the pool with sea views; the side garden patio with sea views and overlooks the dedicated basket ball playing area retreat to the outside ground floor patio area where you can slump into any one of the 3 fab sofas and indulge yourself in afternoon cocktails as the sea breeze cools your sun kissed skin. The poolside gazebo and poolside dining table provide seating for 10-12 persons and the 10 sun loungers means everyone who wants to can lay in sun or under the lovely poolside palm trees can. The trees provide welcome shade from the mid afternoon sun and if you feel like getting away from everyone there is a secluded area nestled down beyond the pool area where can sit and just be. The 1st Floor patio is the villas piece-de-resistance with panoramic views of the Ocean and golf course and a dining table to alfresco dine while you watch the sunset, being caressed by the slow cool breeze that visits the patio most evenings, this patio also boasts a rocking chair guaranteed to rock to sleep as night draws In. The inside, upstairs dining area has a beautiful hand made Mahogany and marble table and chairs set where you can also enjoy your meals in the comfort of a fan cooled environment. The newly refurbished kitchen is well appointed with granite work tops and under cupboard worktop lighting. The 1st Floor lounge – is really a great room – with a light and airy feel with it's fabulous vaulted ceilings and a large concertina French door that open onto the large patio, with willowy beige curtains if you need a little privacy(although no one can see you from here as Decaj is not overlooked!) a mixture of sumptuous sofas, tastefully coordinated furniture , large Flat screen television, CD player, DVD, and JVC home cinema system and Wi-fi are available for our guests enjoyment. Wi-fi is available both inside and outside on the patios, pool decks and gazebos. The ground floor lounge is a gorgeous open space that has an array of tastefully coordinated sofas and chairs a Sony Muti-changer CD system that is Ipod compatible and leads out onto the pool area and lower patio concourse through double patio doors. The two bedroom suites on the first floor, have air conditioning as does the bedroom suite and two further large bedrooms on the ground floor the 1st floor master suite has sea views it's own en suite bathroom, dressing room and walk in wardrobe with private safe. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with soft pastel colours and all incorporate large fitted wall robes. Roweena, our housekeeper, is on duty 6 days a week to ensure your stay is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. Rowenna will prepare your breakfast each morning from whatever you purchase; your lunch – set up on which ever dining deck you choose and will prepare your evening meal and leave it for you to pop in the oven when you are ready. Roweena will wash any clothes you leave for her as part of your stay at Decaj, for a small additional fee, and Linton our gardener will ensure that all outside guest areas and pools are cleaned, Linton also ensures that Decaj is well looked after and maintained to a high standard and will ensure that the garden is looking at its best, maintaining the wonderful flowers and plants around the grounds and patio areas. Housekeeeping service included on Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Please note, that our housekeeper is not a trained nanny and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants or children.
