Switching between the 2 confuses the device. Access down the driveway to laundry stair door is same code as front door. Combination lock to gate provided on arrival, please remember to close&lock the laundry door by pressing on lower right lock button, and securing the combination lock on gate as you return to the front unit where you stay. Caution: stairs are steep and use of basement is at your own risk. Ring Video access (doorbell&front streetview) available to longer term tenants, at the discretion of management. Please pick up after your pet’s detritus and dispose in garbage in backyard. Not responsible for pets escaping from backyard ( gate is accessible by back tenant, pets required to be kept on leash ). Pets are not allowed to be unaccompanied or unleashed in backyard, as the rear unit of duplex shares access to backyard. An off-leash public park is available a short distance away. Yamaha Clavinova digital Piano available to use in living room with refundable $500 deposit and nonrefundable $100 moving fee (stored nearby on-site). Firepit provided without firewood on request, at your own risk (follow San Jose rules). Beach equipment: umbrella & folding chairs in basement near laundry, towels in unit. Paid parking downtown, at your own cost. Take the 522 bus or rideshare back to unit at your own cost. EV charging available via 110v front yard locked plug using your own level 1 charger at your own risk . Upon receipt of $20 per day surcharge, code for lock provided. Please re-lock the cover after plugging in your charger to prevent extraneous use of the other plug and protect your charger from removal. Use of charger is at your own risk (of charging use & theft). Management reserves the right to refund the surcharge and prohibit charging if it impacts electrical use of the house (eg. tripping fuses due to excessive draw) Guest access Your unit, backyard (please replace the lock: combo code provided on arrival), stairs to basement washer/dryer/iron&ironing board (at your own risk, steep stairs), private parking on driveway (please park 5 feet further than front of house and 5 feet from windows of front unit)
