Wind down in your private cabin, close to nature yet equipped with lots of amenities! Your cabin sits on the border of our West Jefferson property, a short walk through the trees. You may see deer or hear the neighbor's rooster crow. Use the fire pit, sit on the porch and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. Comfy queen bed, dishes, linens, hot water, full bathroom, coffee, tv with Roku, and more! Cabin does not have AC. It is shady with a fan and breeze, gets to about 73 at peak summer temps. The space The cabin is a cozy space with 1 room for sleeping and a private bathroom. There are multiple buildings on the property including our home, another rental space, and a barn. We allow 1 pet in the cabin with an additional cleaning fee. Keep in mind that the cabin is pretty small and we don't have a fenced yard, so plan accordingly and only bring your pet if this will work for them. Guest access The cabin is your private space. You are free to roam around the property, use our community fire wood, sit in the wood shed (I like to read or meditate there), and use the charcoal grill near the house. Other things to note The walk to your cabin includes about 30 steps "through the woods" where the path is slightly rocky and natural. Very short, and similar to an easy wooded trail. Overall the walk from the parking area to the cabin is about 200 feet.
