Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have a beautiful house right on the bank of the Kasilof River, which has fantastic salmon fishing. Our house is surrounded by nature and has plenty of places to soak in views of the volcanoes. There is great fishing, hiking, biking, and sightseeing right out the door. 25 Minutes to the Kenai River. Only 5 minutes to the ocean and just over an hour to Homer! Fast starlink internet and TV. The space We have one bedroom available on the first floor with an incredibly comfortable queen bed. The room has a closet and is right across the hall from your own private bathroom Guest access The entire downstairs of the house is open to our guests including the dining room, living room, guest bathroom, sun room and TV. Kitchen use is limited to microwave, coffee maker (we provide coffee!) and additionally, limited cooking utensils on request. Additionally, you will have access to our wonderful sun room and back yard with great views of the river and Mt. Redoubt as well as our outdoor smoker/grill. Feel free to stroll the property and wander through the garden or feed the ducks. We also have RV parking available. Please note that the upstairs of the house, garage and shop on the property are off limits to guests. We also have two friendly dogs, Fisher and Birdy, and a cuddly cat, Scrawny. We are happy to give you as much guidance and advice as you would like on your Alaska journey. Please note that our property provides great access to public land and the Kasilof river, but we are not liable for any activities conducted on our property or on/in the river and reccomend using caution. Fish cleaning can be done at the river but is not allowed at the house.
