Our Services - Transportation: Traveling a long way to a new country in the developing world is inherently stressful. We want to make your trip as easy and safe as we can. If you send us your flight details – carrier, flight number, and arrival time – before your arrival, we will be at the airport waiting to welcome you to Peru. We charge USD$ 28 for up to two passengers and USD$ 5 for each additional passenger. Our Restaurant: Enjoy extra breakfasts from $7.00 with fresh baked bread, seasonal fruit salad, homemade marmalade, fresh squeezed orange juice, and gourmet coffee on our terrace to get your day started. We also offer a number of breakfast sandwiches, eggs any style, omelettes, and pancakes should you rise with an appetite. Make Peru Star your home away from home and join us for lunch, and dinner. At lunch enjoy of our delicious homemade Peruvian typical dishes with platos a la carta look at up our menu! At dinner, our restaurant serves Peru’s most famous dishes, including Arroz con Pollo, Lomo Saltado, Ceviche, and Jalea. If you are a cook, our chef will show the secrets to her dishes step by step. Many of our guests take home the recipes of their favorite dishes. We are not the typical hotel restaurant; our Peruvian food is the best in the neighborhood. We guarantee the quality of our food – if you do not enjoy your food, you do not have to pay. Maps and Advice: We provide maps of Lima's most important districts, taxi instructions, and a safety manual to all our guests upon check in. Our front desk staff is prepared to help with whichever activity you wish to pursue during your time in Lima. In the last two months we have designed jogging routes, mornings at the museums, nights on the town, and paragliding expeditions. We have bought tickets to bullfights, flights to Cusco, and bus tickets to Nazca. Tours: We can arrange tours throughout Lima and its surrounding areas. There is much to see and do around Lima, we are prepared to help you enjoy it! Please note that we are happy to help you visit Cusco and Machu Picchu; however, our staff requires two weeks advance notice for a general tour or a month advance notice for an Inka Trail trip to guarantee availability. Wifi: Vacations are not what they used to be. Should you need to stay in touch, we have complementary wifi connectivity in every room and hotspots throughout the hotel. If you would like to travel light and leave your laptop at home, we also have a public computer available at all hours.
