Other things to note Essential Information for Your Remote Paradise Experience Location & Access: • Our residence is only accessible by sea • Departure point: Pixvae village • Sea transport included in cleaning fee • 20-minute boat ride to reach the property What to Bring: • Sufficient food supplies for your entire stay • Drinking water for the duration of your visit • Sunscreen and insect repellent • Personal medications • Hiking shoes and rubber boots (recommended for jungle exploration) • Alcoholic beverages (e.g., beer) if desired, as these are not provided Parking: • Public parking available in Pixvae • Safe area, watched over by our local friends • Pixvae is a secure, small town Shopping: • IMPORTANT: You must do a complete grocery shopping for the entire duration of your stay before arrival • We strongly recommend shopping in Soná before coming to Pixvae • Soná offers markets and supermarkets (e.g., Supercentro, Cooperativa Juan 23) • Stock up on all necessary supplies, including: - Food for all meals - Snacks - Drinking water - Any desired alcoholic beverages - Personal items and toiletries • There are no grocery stores near our property, so thorough preparation is essential Extra Services: 1. Cooking Service: • We offer home-cooked meals prepared by our family • $20 per person per day, all-inclusive (non-alcoholic beverages only) • Please inform us of your dietary requirements and preferences in advance • This allows us to plan and shop accordingly for your stay 2. Excursions: a) COIBA ISLAND TOUR • $250 flat rate for groups of 1-10 people • Typical excursion: 8 AM - 4 PM • Includes transportation, lunch, and basic snorkeling equipment • Tourist tax (not included in price): - $20 per person for international visitors - $5 per person for Panamanian residents - $3 per person for Panamanian students b) Fishing Trips: • Can be coordinated on-site • Prices are affordable and vary depending on duration and type of fishing - Fishing equipment provided • Cleaning and filleting of the fish included Please note: Our location is remote, offering an authentic nature experience.
