The property is less than 10 minutes away from the BUF airport, the Depew train station, and the Walden Galleria mall. The space The property is centrally located and less than 10 minutes away from the airport, the Amtrak station, and the Walden Galleria Mall, and less than 20 minutes away from the Bills stadium, UB, and downtown Buffalo. Guest access You can check-in any time after 4 pm, but if you are checking-in when others may be sleeping (9 pm - 8 am) I ask that you are considerate of others and try to keep noise at a minimum please. Free street parking is available adjacent to the home. Please make sure that you aren’t blocking any driveways when you park. In order to keep things simple, I ask that you please refrain from parking on the driveway since there aren’t enough spots to accommodate all guests. However, you are allowed to use the driveway temporarily (15 minutes or less) to load/unload your luggage when checking in/out if you’d like. During your stay If you need any help please send me a message in the airbnb app. Please don’t wait until after your stay to let me know something was wrong, as nothing can be done at that point. While Airbnbs were never meant to mimic staying at a hotel and instead are similar to the experience you’d have if you were staying with a friend or a family member, I still try to make your stay as pleasant as possible, so if you need anything please let me know and I’ll accommodate if I can. Other things to note HOUSE RULES: - Please note that I have decided to stop hosting local residents as I’ve experienced too many instances of local residents making reservations only to host unapproved parties and a few instances of local residents refusing to vacate the property after their reservation ended. So, if you maintain a residence locally, please refrain from making a reservation. Ignoring this rule will result in cancellation. - Third party bookings are against Airbnb’s rules. So, you can’t book for other people. Please make sure that the name on your airbnb profile matches your government ID and that you have a clear photo of your face on your airbnb profile. - Check-in is anytime after 4 pm and check-out is anytime before 10 am. Late check-outs are subject to a $100 fee. - Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am, so I ask that you please limit noise levels during these hours, so everyone can get a good night’s sleep. - Please leave your shoes in the staircase. We don’t wear shoes in the house. Thank you in advance. - Smoking of any kind, parties, and pets are not allowed anywhere on the premises. Ignoring this rule will lead to a $300 penalty. One of my family members has severe allergies to animal dandrin so we have an exception for hosting all animals including service dogs. - Please lock the main entry door every time you enter and exit the home. I assume no responsibility for lost or stolen items. - Please don’t leave the air conditioners running when you leave the house. - Please do not allow anyone who is not on your reservation to enter the home. This is trespassing. Maximum occupancy for each room is only 2 people. Please do not share your access code with anyone else. - Since this is a shared space, I ask that you are considerate of others and limit your time using shared spaces such as the bathroom and the kitchen. Please try to limit your time in the bathroom to less than 15 minutes. For this reason, I’ve included hair dryers in all the bedrooms so you can do your hair and make up in your rooms in order to free up the bathroom. - If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger inside the bathroom to unclog it for the next guest. Similarly, if you get the bathroom floor wet, please dry it with paper towels and discard in the garbage. This is to prevent slips and falls. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet as this will damage the plumbing. - I ask that you don’t use the kitchen to cook elaborate or smelly foods (e.x. no bacon or curry). Instead, please use the kitchen only for simple meal prepping. For this reason, I’ve only advertised that I offer a kitchenette which is defined by airbnb as a space to heat and store food. If you use the kitchenette, please do not leave your dirty dishes in the sink, on the counter, or on the stove for any amount of time. Instead, please hand wash and dry your dirty dishes immediately so others can walk into a clean kitchen as well. A drying rack has been provided. - You can park for free on the street, but please make sure you aren’t blocking any driveways.
