Winter Travel Advisory: ❄️ For snowy conditions, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended. CHP may require tire chains to travel the mountain. While the county regularly plows the roads, timing can vary. We will clear snow so you can park and enter the house, but you may need to remove snow from your vehicle or stairs during your stay. A snow shovel will be provided, and caution is advised in these areas. If you prefer a company to remove snow during your stay, we can provide contacts which you can arrange and pay for. Essentials Starter Kit: We provide just enough to get you started. If you need additional items, please bring them along! Other things to note Wildlife Notice: Please be aware that while you enjoy the beauty of nature in the mountains, you may also encounter local animals. We do thoroughly clean the cabin between guests and conduct regular pest control. Electricity Notice: Power outages can occur in the mountains during extreme weather conditions. Our cabin is equipped with an automatic backup generator that will keep essential items like lights, electronics, and the refrigerator running smoothly. Sauna Rules: • Payment: Access code is provided after payment of $45. • Shower Prior: Please shower with soap and water before use. • Recommended Time: 15-20 minutes. • Attire: Wear swimwear or workout clothes only; no shoes. • Towel: Take a clean towel to sit on and to dry perspiration. • No Food/Drinks: Food and drinks are not allowed inside. • No Water on Heater: Do not pour water over the heater. • Wipe Down: If very sweaty, please wipe down your area using the natural sauna cleaner only. • Children: Sauna use is not recommended for children. Do not leave children unattended in or around the sauna while it is turned on/in use.
