The Retreat is a naturalistic space for you to feel peace and ease while you enjoy all the things to do in WNC and the environment around you. Adults only, please! The space A few short steps from downtown- once you arrive you can access all this amazing town has to offer without ever getting back in your car! Located 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, and 1 mile from the best hiking & views Western North Carolina offers! This apartment is located above Be Well Black Mountain: a spa and therapy business and next door to the NY Times acclaimed Black Mountain Yoga Center/Spa with Far Infrared and Finnish Sauna. It’s beautiful, naturalistic, and clean. Please note: this being a “Retreat” we do NOT have a television! We DO have WiFi for you to bring your own devices though. No chemicals are used only natural products, we do not accept pets to maintain a natural and allergy-free retreat due to being fully natural and hypoallergenic. We supply soap, paper products, linens, & coffee. There is a drip coffee maker, french press, toaster, water purifier, blender, and all kitchen needs. You have your own entrance. You can come and go as you please without interrupting HOWEVER: at your entrance and exit is a therapist's office door; PLEASE be soft and gentle upon entering and exiting the Retreat. I'm sorry, but no toddlers or loud walkers as running and clomping disturb the spa and treatments below. Thank you for understanding and knowing this before booking. Guest access The key code will be emailed to you ASAP before your stay. Please enter on the South side. The short flight of steps to the apartment. Park in front of the flowers (when in bloom) at the sign “retreat” and closest to the building. There is an automatic light that will turn on upon arrival (if at night). You do not need to contact us if you're late; no one will be there at any time to greet you or bother you during your stay. If during working hours (9-5pm) please be soft and quiet upon entrance & exit due to spa therapists door beside your entrance before going upstairs to your Retreat. Enjoy!!! Other things to note The Retreat is a shoe-free (no shoes please) home. I’m sorry, but no toddlers allowed due to noise of sweet little footstep below. We rent the below to Be Well Black Mountian, a spa and talk therapy business and ask for very mindfulness of their sacred space and business. — esp during the week, please be as quiet as you can entering and departing as you’re at their r entrance otoo. There is not a TV in the studio. There IS internet. The codes will be sent to you via Airbnb. The utensils are in the drawer of the kitchen table/butcher block. (please do not cut on the table. We have supplied cutting boards for you in the kitchen. The hot water may take a few minutes to heat up as it's "On Demand" hot water.
