The main floor has an additional bedroom with double bed and full bathroom as well as full kitchen, dining room, and living area. We are close to many popular hiking trails from gentle to epic, swimming holes such as the Jay Covered Bridge, and Hardy Road mountain biking. The nearby Ausable River is a premier destination for fly-fishing. Boat rentals are available in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Winter guests enjoy world class skiing and snowboarding at Whiteface Mountain, cross country skiing, and ice skating. Attractions and events nearby include High Falls Gorge, John Brown's Farm, Lake Placid Horse Shows, and the Olympic Museum and Olympic Jumping Complex. You can even take a bobsled ride with a professional driver and brakeman! Many dining and shopping options are available in the Village of Lake Placid.
