Welcome to the Little Blue Whale Watcher on Whidbey Island! Our home has been thoughtfully updated while preserving the unique style of this mid-century cottage and we are excited to share it with you. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway with breathtaking views, a couple’s retreat with plenty of open space for sharing meals, or a small family looking for an escape from the city - this home is for you. The space The Little Blue Whale Watcher is our little slice of heaven on Whidbey Island. With stunning views of Possession Sound, Mt. Baker and the Cascade mountains. We enjoy watching the abundant wildlife including whales, sea lions, seals, eagles, great blue herons, resident bunnies and deer. Our home is a two bedroom one bath beach cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway, couples retreat, or a small family escape from the city. There is a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking as well as a Nespresso machine for enjoying a great cup of coffee while watching the sun rise over the sound. Both bedrooms have quality mattresses, linens, and pillows for your comfort along with TV’s each with a Roku for streaming your favorite movies and shows. The living area is open and takes full advantage of the views through the large picture window. There are throw blankets, pillows and poofs for kicking your feet up in front of the fire after a day exploring our beautiful island. The outdoor deck is our favorite place to relax, with comfortable outdoor furniture and a grill. The covered patio with Adirondack chairs is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, rain or shine! The garage has a full washer and dryer along with detergent for your use. There are a few beach chairs, a picnic blanket and outdoor towels for enjoying an afternoon at the beach or lunch at one of our beautiful wineries. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home. Other things to note The Little Blue Whale Watcher is within a short distance of the Mukilteo Ferry for those that would like to travel to the island without a car. We have indoor secure storage for bikes for those traveling on two wheels!
