You can follow kilometers of existing walking and cycling routes across the dike. Good weather is not necessary here as the mudflats are always fantastic, and the house is lovely and warm partly because of the large gas fireplace and heating, which you can use all year round. A spacious garden that is half-fenced and, in consultation with the neighbors, can even be made completely fenced. The whole area around the house (the long dike and the Wadden Sea) is your backyard, where you can go crabbing, mudflat hiking, or dream away with the lovely view of the mudflats.
