The Camano Beach Cabin is a quaint, cozy log home just an hour from Seattle. No ferry lines here, drive right onto Camano Island and start enjoying life on the beach, just out the back door, with views of Mt. Rainier. The Cabin has two bedrooms and one bath, in a cozy 1000 square feet, perfect for couples, or small families looking to escape city living. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed: single mattress on top; full mattress below. The space Cabin Amenities The kitchen has the pots, pans and utensils you will need to prepare a meal, or enjoy some of the restaurants on Camano, or in Stanwood. WiFi: We will provide a password as a part of your reservation documentation Movies: We have a wide variety of DVD movies, some suitable for the family, some for adults. Movies are also available from the IGA and Library. NO CABLE IS PROVIDED. The TV does have an HDMI input if you would like to access programming via phone, tablet or computer. Games: We provide a number of board games and puzzles for all ages We are a Chemically Sensitive Family: You’ll notice the first time you walk in the door, all you’ll smell is the cedar walls of the cabin. No Febreeze, bleach or perfumes in the air. What this means is we live a little differently than most: We are almost completely organic. Most of the contents of our pantry and cabinets are organic, feel free to enjoy. We don’t use products with any chemicals or perfumes. We ask that you use the products we provide (especially when using the washer/dryer – PLEASE no scented detergents or fabric softeners). Should you choose to bring your own soaps or shampoo, please be sure to take it with you when you leave. Here is a short list of what we do, and don’t provide/use. soaps detergent (provided in the closet next to the washer/dryer) shampoo cleansers (we use vinegar and soda) air fresheners (we don’t use them) fabric softeners (we don’t use them) We ask that you do your part to keep sand, dust and dirt out of the Cabin. Please use the hose by the back door to thoroughly rinse off before reentering the house from the beach. We provide extra towels for drying-off after hosing down. Do not use the yellow bath towels for this purpose as silt and sand will stain them. Please leave all shoes outside the doors. Conditions for Rent: No Smoking No Pets We do not rent to film makers or other commercial enterprises We do not rent to anyone under 25 (we will ask for an ID) Guest access You will have complete access to the cabin and the beach. The sheds hold various tubes, beach games and toys for your enjoyment.
