Please no children, it is not "baby proofed". A full kitchen has cookware, dinnerware, coffee pot, microwave. ONE (1) WELL BEHAVED DOG IS ALLOWED, NO OTHER PETS. Parking for one car, no trucks/trailers; there is limited turning space. Ask about extra parking. No TV, good wifi. It's a quiet zone after 10pm. The space The Harbor Cottage is located among the spruces, maples and ledges of a former quarry in downtown Stonington and is a short walk to restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop, galleries, convenience store, library, Opera House and public landing. During the off-season some restaurants will have limited hours or be closing as the season winds down. Drinking water is very good in Stonington, you don't need to buy plastic bottles of water. A Britta filter pitcher is provided for daily use. A heat pump provides heating and cooling with an additional heater in the bathroom. Towels, linens and a fully stocked kitchen are included with the rental. I provide soaps and paper products, a market is a mile away where you can restock as needed. There is a picnic table with an umbrella and grill outside the door. I am available by phone/text for any needs that may arise. My contact info and the Wifi code are posted in the kitchen. Please don’t hesitate to call or text with any needs or concerns. Guest access This site is best for one vehicle, there is no room for a truck or boat trailer. Please do not drive off and leave the dog home alone all day. I don't want to offend my wonderful neighbors with an unattended dog that has barked for hours. Stonington has a leash law. Please bring a doggie bed if you have one. Protective "doggie sheets" are supplied on the bottom shelf of the closet to protect the upholstery and bedding, please use them.
