It's a great place to unwind and listen to the waterfall and creek among the trees behind the house. You can get away and still be close to everything in town. There are three comfy and cozy bedrooms, a living room, a brand new kitchen, 2 full baths, full size washer and dryer and an attached garage. There is also a breezeway for all your outdoor gear, bikes, snowboards etc. The house sits on almost half an acre with a new private deck to relax on. The town of Pleasant Valley is only a mile away with shops and restaurants close by. You're also only 15 minutes from Vassar College, Marist College, the CIA and the Omega Institute. Poughkeepsie Metro North Station is only a 15 minute Uber ride away. 1 1/2 hours from New York City by car. Other things to note Please note, this house is cozy and has a renovated kitchen with newer appliances. This is not a chef’s kitchen. Previous guests did not appreciate the various pantry items left behind be other guests, so they have been discarded due to Covid concerns. Please bring your cooking essentials, or buy them at the nearby grocery store, Acme. Basic kitchen appliances have been provided, and if you have a special request we will try to meet your needs as best as we can. That being said, please keep your expectations to a reasonable level.
