The space This beautiful modern house has been designed and built by a Czech glass artist and his wife as their artist studio, who have transformed this art studio and many other properties into beautiful, charming homes. They designed the house and created almost everything, from the art on the walls to the furniture and the landscaped garden. There are many outdoor spaces to relax, including a beautiful sun terrace and a private patio. The property features a flexible open-plan living space with a bedroom that has an orthopedic king-size mattress and a separate entrance to the wooden deck. The bedroom opens onto the living space through a large "barn" sliding door. The living room is between the well-equipped gourmet kitchen and the bedroom and is furnished with one queen-size bed, comfortable sofa, and hammock and can be used as a second bedroom. The home comfortably accommodates 2-4 people. If you are a larger family, we have an additional 3 rooms for rent on the same property. We are also open to hosting your special occasions or events. Each of the rooms has access to the wooden deck overlooking the lake and the volcanoes. Either open the large sliding doors between the rooms, creating one large loft-like space of 1506.82 square feet or 148 m2 or close the barn doors for privacy. The house is conveniently located within a private garden and just 100m /328 feet from the lakeshore in a very quiet and safe setting. It is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to the village of San Marcos and has its dock from which you can catch a public boat every 20 minutes ( take 7 min by boat to San Marcos or 35 to Panajachel ). Restaurants and shops are within an easy walk, short tuk-tuk, or boat ride. We don't spray any chemicals and you are located in raw nature, some harmless spiders or black scorpions can be seen sometimes. We have been supporting and running our non-profit organization for 20 years supporting education, nutrition, and art in San Juan La Laguna. If you are interested in volunteering or being part of the support for the Indigenous community, we would love to have you join us. With beach access just steps away, you'll have the opportunity to fully embrace the lakeside experience. Additionally, we offer gourmet breakfast options, available with prior reservation. Our culinary offerings are a harmonious blend of generosity and eco-consciousness, with a focus on organic, locally sourced ingredients prepared using cherished family recipes. Moreover, we provide an array of activities and services to enrich your stay. These offerings encompass an English-speaking guide, immersive visits to the local community, private boat excursions, revitalizing massages, invigorating private yoga sessions, and even a Mayan cacao ceremony, among many other options. We also offer private helicopter transport for added convenience. While daily breakfast and activities are available for an additional cost, we highly recommend securing reservations in advance to ensure a truly delightful experience during your stay. Guest access Private Transportation: We are happy to help you reserve a private car for $150/Q1200, paid directly to the drivers, for a one-way trip arriving at Panajachel, followed by a private boat ride for Q250 per boat. Breakfast: Breakfast must be booked in advance at a price of Q150/$20 USD per person. Alternatively, you can travel to town for breakfast. All breakfasts will be served on the beach with prior reservation. Property Access: Our property is accessible via the main gate on the road, which requires a key that you will receive upon check-in. Note that check-in via the road is only available if previously arranged; otherwise, check-in is via the lakefront. Guests can arrive by private or public boat, which can be flagged down at our private dock. Facilities: Guests have access to our entire garden (except for the private part of the pink house) and private dock with a shaded sitting area, sunbathing, and swimming area. There is free Wi-Fi and the use of a kayak, paddleboard, and heliport. Amenities: Endless drinking water, coffee, and tea are provided. A small fridge is located in your room with alcohol available for purchase. High-quality bed linens and endless towels are included, as well as good-quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Other things to note If you are a larger family, we have an additional 3 rooms and an entire house available for rent on the same property. We are also open to hosting your special occasions or events. PLEASE NOTE: At Anzan Table, our culinary offerings are exclusive and event-centric, catering to groups of at least 8 people for special events, retreats, or unique occasions. We don’t operate as a daily restaurant but rather open our doors for these special gatherings, or during our signature event nights, welcoming both our guests and the public to indulge in our exceptional dining experience. -We are happy to help you reserve a private boat or a car or helicopter ( 35 min. from the airport) that will arrive directly at the property  -Breakfasts must be booked a day in advance. You can also travel to town by boat ( 5 min) walk for 20 min or tuk-tuk for breakfast or bring your takeout dinner. -Endless drinking water, coffee, and tea are provided, but please let us know if more is needed.
