The space We have two other rooms available at this same location. All rooms are located on the 2nd floor. This home was built in the 1800's and is the oldest residence in the borough of Somerset. The original wide plank flooring is held in place by hand forged nails, offering a unique look into the past. You will have access to a shared bathroom (when other guestroom is booked), featuring a tub, ample space in the shower with a curved curtain rod, and a rainwater hand held shower head. For your safety we are using a RAYCOP LITE UV Sanitizing HEPA Allergen Vacuum to sanitize the mattress and bedding between guests. Our beds include hypo-allergenic, charcoal pillows, which shield against bacteria, fungi, and odor. Guests have access to free parking at the back of the property. Keyless entry to the home. Key entry to the bedroom. Access to the front porch with 4 season furniture. Upon request the outside hot tub may be available. Guests have access to the newly renovated front living room with window seats, TV, (Netflix and satellite) and sectional furniture. This room also creates privacy as there is a door that can be closed at your convenience. During your stay We will interact with each guest as feasible and are available to answer questions about the area. Other things to note Home owners are well acquainted with the local area and can provide information to make your stay more memorable. With advance notice, we may be able to provide shuttle service to the LHHT and GAP for a nominal fee. Please let us know if this is something you are interested in. September through May we typically host a Bible study on Thursday nights in our home, which guests are welcome to join. There is an EV Charger (non-Tesla) located a few blocks away.
