18 miles to Shawnee Peak ski and in quaint Cornish village, We are centrally located to many activities and adventures : York Beaches, Portland city life, shopping, FOOD & sites, N Conway, NH for ski, ON snowmobile trail & Boston is 2.5 hours away! The space Our Historic Perkin's House, circa 1870, boasts 3 rooms within the main home, as well as a suite located in the renovated carriage house, attached to main home, complete with sliding barn door, which can accommodate families nicely: cozy and quaint town, walk to shops and dining, Cornish offers many festivals, and with proximity to so many other towns and cities, the list of activities is endless. We are a four season town and home! 2.5 hours to Boston, 45 minutes from Portland, 35 minutes to N. Conway. NH. So close to the ski resorts, White Mountain, St. Joseph's College, Bridgton Academy and such beautiful upcoming fall foliage and winter activities! We are close to the snowmobile paths and Cornish has a snow mobile club!!..plenty of room to bring the toys. ****This listing pertains to the Carriage House which can accommodate two guests. This is an oversized space (1000 square feet no stairs to contend with..) with a Queen poster bed, complete with comfy premium mattress and plush linens, with access to a private bath, located on first floor! No stairs!!! Also, private microwave, refrigerator, dining nook, fireplace , custom leather sleeper sofa (brand new) , huge theatre TV and game systems with a huge movie collection in the room. All other rooms and baths are upstairs! This is an efficiency space carriage house! Great for families ! Hot Breakfast included on weekends! Guest access Guests have access to kitchen, study, family room, common areas and bath, as well as screened porch, wrap around porches and yard. Pretty much everywhere! We even have access to a 4th floor widows walk, complete with deck..awesome moon and star gazing. During your stay We live on property and we leave the interaction level to our wonderful guests! We are very friendly, having spent the majority of our lives in the South...and we, too, love to travel, and would be more than willing to provide suggestions for your trip! Other things to note We have 3 rooms inside main home (3 baths..1 is downstairs)..These rooms all have Queen size beds and themed rooms: The Americano, The Vintage and The Garden. We also have a carriage house with Queen size bed, media area, small kitchenette, upstairs with 2 full size beds and a bath. The carriage house can sleep 2 comfortably, max occupancy 4. the interior guest rooms max occupancy is 2. TELEVISION is in the carriage house rental, not the main house bedrooms, however, feel free to use the common area television. Specialty coffees, syrups and creamers are available. Need a ride to and from the airport? We can assist, for a nominal fee, and many of our International guests, and visiting family, have enjoyed this perk. Please arrange prior to arrival!
