The lower level showcases a 65" TV, fireplace, foosball table, dartboard, queen size sofa bed, and mini-fridge. Upper area boasts an open concept design great for entertaining. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, comfy, and spacious. The space Upon your arrival to Rolling Acres Retreat, you will be greeted by a red brick Colonial style home conveniently placed atop a sloping hill with distant mountain views from the front drive. The accessible, non-intimidating driveway provides parking for a maximum of four standard sized vehicles. An elegantly lit paved pathway will lead you to the front door. Mature landscaping and woods compliment the property with year-round beauty and produces exceptional foliage and color change throughout the seasons. A half-acre lot with fully fenced-in backyard provides a safe place to run and play while also creating a peaceful mountain retreat. The in-ground fire pit is perfect for telling ghost stories and making s'mores, and a wooden entertainment deck has plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful mountain air while grilling up a meal using the charcoal grill. The interior is inspired by an eclectic, mid-century modern design, with hints of Western North Carolina. Luxurious vinyl plank flooring provides durable and forgiving floor surfaces throughout. The open concept kitchen and living area create an outstanding space for entertaining. Stainless steel appliances and well stocked kitchen necessities will allow for nights in to be convenient, without the need to over pack. A 55" smart TV and Blu Ray player are showcased in the living room area and a comfortable sectional sofa and accent chairs provide plenty of space for relaxing. The large dining area includes a table with seating for 8 and a sliding glass door leads from the dining area to the back deck giving way to serene views of the wooded area behind the property. Three spacious bedrooms are located on the main level, each sharing the mid-century modern design. Every bedroom contains a dresser, closet, and two nightstands with USB table lamps making for convenient charging of your devices. One of the bedrooms provides distant mountain views. The memory foam mattresses in each room provide a supportive yet plush sleeping experience. The beautiful white bedding material would rival that of many up-scale hotels. One full size bathroom is located in the hall. Clean white towels await your stay and a full-size bath/shower conveniently provides bathing options for all ages. An 80 gallon water heater ensures enough hot water is available for a large group. One of the three bedrooms down the hall is the master suite which boasts the same amenities as the other two, yet also includes a desk which can be used as a make up area, or a place to set up a convenient, private work station. Two closets are available within the master suite. The master suite is conveniently accompanied by a private master bath which includes a walk-in shower. The master suite overlooks the wooded area and fire-pit. Heading down to the lower level of the home you will find your interior retreat anchored by a large, wood burning fireplace. For your entertainment, a 65” television provides smart TV access while you lounge on the oversized, comfortable reclining sectional sofa. There is also a Blu Ray player so feel free to bring your favorite movies! A Foosball table and dart board provide additional inside entertainment and a mini-fridge makes for convenient stocking of beverages. A separate queen size sofa bed enables this space to be converted into a parlor suite. A half bath makes the area even more convenient. Also on the lower level you will find a full-size laundry room with washer, dryer, washing sink, iron, and ironing board available for guest use. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except the garage. Other things to note There is no cable television available in the house. Both televisions are Wifi enabled smart TV's providing access to all your favorite apps and Blu Ray players are provided for each TV. The charcoal grill on the back deck is available for your use. We ask that you please clean the grill after use. If you are intending to use the grill, fireplace, or fire pit, please note that charcoal and logs are not actively provided by the host. If any charcoal or logs are present upon your arrival, feel free to use.
