Haus Karin is located in the duke town of Plön, in the heart of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park. It celebrated its opening in May 2018. The house is suitable for seniors and family friendly. The mandatory final cleaning is charged at € 85. Dogs are welcome for 5 euros per night, but only one animal per booking and this with a short fur. Tourist tax is payable locally from 15. May to 15 September to pay 1.50 euros per person. As the house has been newly renovated and covered with laminate, we kindly ask you not to walk around the house with street shoes. Smoking in the house is prohibited. Ashtrays are available for you on the terrace and the balcony. Thanks a lot! The newly renovated row house with 120sqm has 4 bedrooms with 7 beds, 2 bathrooms with shower and 1 kitchen with hatch in the combined dining and living room. In front of the house, which can be reached by car via a private path, there is a lovingly maintained front garden with numerous hydrangeas. In addition to the private path, there is a forested hill, the so-called Kinderwald. Behind the house, our guests will find a terrace with a grill, a small lawn and a rosary. A bathroom with shower / toilet is located on the ground floor and on the upper floor. There are also all 4 bedrooms. One room has a single bed and one has a bunk bed. In two other rooms there are two single beds and a double bed. From the large bedroom, which also has a crib, there is a balcony that, like the property, faces south. Two handrails have been installed in the stairwell for senior citizens. A shower seat was built into the shower with a flat entrance on the upper floor. The house Karin has satellite TV and free WiFi access. There are sufficient public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. For children, the "adventure playground" is just a stone's throw away. A shop, the swimming pool, a restaurant, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, a self-service machine of the Sparkasse and a fitness center can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. The Große Plöner See, the largest inland lake in Schleswig-Holstein, is located approx. 250m from the holiday home. The Plön Lake Tour, the Bosauffahrt and the 5-Seen-Reise invite you to discover Holstein Switzerland from the water. Guided canoe tours are also offered in Plön. It is only a few minutes' walk from the holiday home to reach the Behler See, the Höftsee, the Schöhsee, the Edebergsee (departure of the 5 lakes trip) or the Großer Plöner See. In addition to the lake tour already mentioned, a mini golf course, a kiosk, a bocce court, a tennis court and the "Fegetasche bathing area" invite you to linger. If you want to go to the city, you can take the city bus, which transports our guests to the center within 10 minutes. The bus stop can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot. In Plön you can immerse yourself in the time of the dukes and the empire. Sights include the historic train station located at the ZOB, which also houses the tourist information, the market square with the Nikolaikirche, the town hall with the Gänselieselbrunnen, the small dreamy Twieten, the Johanneskirche, the district museum and the Plöner Schloss with the palace complex which the so-called Prince's house belongs. At the tip of a long peninsula, the "Prinzeninsel", the restaurant "Niedersächsisches Bauernhaus" invites you to linger. The second bus line, which runs in Plön, takes you to the Parnass tower, inaugurated in 1888, which offers a wonderful overview of the roofs of Plön and its surroundings. With a clear view you can see as far as Kiel or spot the highest mountain in Schleswig-Holstein, the Bungsberg, at 168m. The federal highways 76 (Kiel-Lübeck) and 430 (Neumünster-Lütjenburg) intersect in Plön. The Kiel-Lübeck railway runs directly along the Großer Plöner See, on which a DB train stops every half hour. The state capital Kiel is 30 km away, the queen of the Hanseatic League Lübeck is around 45 km away. Hamburg can be reached by car in about an hour. The Hansapark Sierksdorf amusement park (30km), the festival town of Eutin (15km), the spa town of Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen (10km), the island of Fehmarn (70km) and Bad Segeberg (40km), where the Karl May- Festival take place.
