Just outside Spokane WA, is the idyllic Nine Mile Falls. This gorgeous hideaway is located inside Riverside State Park and sits on the edge of the Spokane river. Just 15 mins from downtown Spokane, yet miles away from the rest of the world, access to this hidden home is right off the Wilber Road Trailhead inside Riverside State Park. The space Our gorgeous home was completely gutted and rebuilt inside and out with a modern, clean vibe in 2011, and the entire outdoor landscaping, including outdoor kitchen, deck and patio was just completed in 2018. 3 bedrooms easily sleep 8, with an additional pull-down murphy bed in the game room if you need more space. View the river from all bedrooms - this place just makes you exhale the second you walk in. The entire upper floor is the master suite with California King size bed, balcony to sit outside and watch the river cascade by while you drink your morning coffee. The gorgeous remodeled bathroom has a double person bath with fountain facet, that sits underneath the window. Climb in the bath with a glass of wine, open the blinds and sit in peace and serenity watching the water, the eagles nest across the river, and feel your blood pressure come down a few notches. There's also a double sink and double walk in open shower - just divine. Truth be told, you never need any of the blinds closed in the first place. We are 100ft from the water and no one on the other side of the river, it doesn't get more private than this. Wheather you're a fabulous movie star shooting in town and want the privacy of this gorgeous retreat or you have a gaggle of friends who love the outdoors and want to surround themselves in nature and party all weekend, it's all here, year round, from running, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing etc. We have a fully paved driveway so the winter weather is not an issue, and we have a basketball court at the bottom of the driveway for summer fun :-) The kitchen has everything you could want: double fridge and freezer, wine cooler, garbage disposer, Keurig coffee maker, stovetop, and oven. There is bar seating for 4 in the open style kitchen into the family room. The main level of the house is super open plan with two HUGE entertaining family rooms flanking either side of the kitchen, with huge flat screen TVs in each room, Direct TV, and more expansive views of the river. Downstairs from the front door are the bedrooms, 2nd bath and game room, with antique pool table, french doors out to the water. The game room has a novelty pull down queen size murphy bed for your party guests, the middle bedroom has a queen size bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and a set of full-size bunk beds. Underneath the stairs, you'll find futons for the kids or if you just want to mix it up or sleep on the deck in the summer! This is our home and you'll find our personal things in just a few places. We want you to feel like a house guest, not like you are in some cold hotel so we have a few personal things in the house. Feel free to use what you see, but if its not yours take care of it, wash it, replace it - just imagine we were here and how you would treat things and do the same :-) This house brings us so much happiness and relaxation and we hope it brings you the same.
