Casa Macrina E is a cheerful apartment in a quiet position, situated at a short distance from the Cathedral of Amalfi. It sleeps three people. From Casa Macrina E you will enjoy a pleasant view of Valle delle Ferriere (Ferriere valley) and of Amalfi. Casa Macrina E is 35 square meters (375 square feet). It features air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access. You will be in the center of Amalfi, a few steps from restaurants, shops and the tourist port. You will find the Piazza Flavio Gioia bus terminal and the beach at roughly 700 meters (770 yards). Casa Macrina E is located on the ground floor of an ancient convent. You will reach it from the street level going up approximately 60 stairway steps. You will not need a car to stay at Casa Macrina E. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, in a private parking lot. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. Casa Macrina is located in the center of Amalfi in an ancient monastery, built in the XI century, where other locals live. Throughout the years the monastery's cells have been converted into nice apartments. Duomo Square, where Saint Andrew's Cathedral is located, is only 600 meters  (650 yards) away, and you can easily reach it by a pleasant walk through the historic center of Amalfi. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, and include a sofa. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator without freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the sea at a distance. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. Bedroom 2 You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room. It has a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The room has two small windows. Other roomsLaundry room You will be able to reach the laundry room through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.
