Welcome to Fairview Lake! Hello and thank you for your interest in our lakehouse. We have everything you need to have a good experience with your stay. This unique lake house sits on a peninsula that jets out into the lake on a large level lot with 272 feet of lake frontage with amazing views, a large dock 50 feet from the house and plenty of quality space for 10 guests. Amazing privacy with no road to walk across to get to lake and only 5 other houses on gravel road. The space The first floor is filled with large windows to give you a 140° view of the lake. The house features hardwood floors and knotty pine walls of the traditional Gumble Brothers lakehouse. The living space is open with the 10 seat dining room table set between the large enclosed sunporch (a great place to read, relax or play games, while enjoying the lake) and vaulted ceilings with hemlock beams thru out. The large beautiful deck, second stone patio at the lakes edge, and large private dock with Adirondack chairs and carpet are great for fishing, afternoon drinks in the sun, or just hanging out close to the water. There is plenty of outside furniture for basking in the sun and a grill for outdoor cooking. Whether you are seeking shade or sun, you have a scenic view. At night, use the large firepit and Adirondack chairs along the lake edge for enjoying smores and breathtaking views of the evening stars and moon. Guest access The house is completely yours during your stay! The main level features the kitchen, dining room / great room, a full bath and half bath with laundry. Three first floor bedrooms feature a queen bed and 2 rooms with 2 twin beds. All rooms have pillows and blankets as well as overhead fans. French doors lead to the large deck. The second floor has full bath. The master suite has a king bed. The other bedrooms on the second floor contain a queen bed and bunk beds. Other things to note KEY RESIDENCE FEATURES: The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, heating and ceiling fans, free WiFi, 4 TVs with Amazon Fire Sticks with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN, 2 dvd players, kayak, canoe, rowboat, extremely large half circle driveway parking for cars or truck and boat trailers, and much more. Fully stocked game and puzzle cabinets Full size shuffleboard court and horseshoe pit on property Only a few minute walk to the local park with pickleball courts, basketball courts, playground and picnic area. Enjoy only 3 stairs to get to lake 50 feet from the house! A short drive to local supermarket, liquor store, restaurants, drugstore and antiques. The house is surrounded by outdoor activities! You’re anywhere between walking distance and 30 minutes drive from swimming, hiking, mountain biking, waterfalls, golf, skiing, antiquing, hunting, snowmobiling and more! Fishing is year round on Fairview Lake, Lake Wallenpaupack or numerous nearby lakes, rivers and streams. Major ski areas nearby are Tanglewood, Montage, Big Boulder, Big Bear, Elk, Camelback, Jack Frost, and Montage. You can ski, snow tube or snow board. Family fun areas nearby are Paupack Blueberry Farm, Kalahari and Aquatopia water parks, Promised Land Lake and Park, Costa’s Family Fun Park with mini golf go karts, batting cages and golf driving range, Shuman Point Nature Preserve and Bushkill Falls. Adult fun nearby include Mt Airy Lodge and casino and the famous Poconos Outlet Mall, the Crossings. Other things to note: Rentals are Sunday to Sunday. Minimum 3 days stay during September - June. Weekly rentals July and August. The house has a septic system and only toilet paper should be flushed. BYO linens (sheets and towels) and paper products Cameras on outside of house are for security only NO PARTIES OR LOUD MUSIC. SOUND TRAVELS EASILY AROUND THE LAKE.
