You will stay in a former chocolate shop, in the centre of Diksmuide. Shop and studios were turned into a cozy stay. The home is wheelchair and child friendly - all spaces are on the ground floor - and spend on a beautiful enclosed city garden. Ideal for families, but also very suitable as a base for small groups to explore the Westhoek and drive or cycle to the sea. All kinds of amenities (bakeries, restaurants, ...) are "around the corner"! The space The Charging Point: bed, bike, hike 4-6 p., then abbreviated to OPLP 4-6 p., is one of the 2 accommodation units that together form holiday home Het Charging Point 8-12 p.. As a tenant of the OPLP accommodation unit, you have access to the rooms 5 and 6. Accessible via door 6: 1) Living space with sitting and dining area. In the sitting area, there is a TV, and a well-equipped kitchen in the dining area. 2) 2 bedrooms, with 2 good single beds in each room and one fold-out sofa bed. This 2 bedroom has a shared bathroom. Accessible via door 5: bedroom no. 3, with 2 good single beds, and a mezzanine where there are 2 mattresses for which children can play and possibly also sleep. This room has its own bathroom. On special request, rooms 3 and 4 + associated bathroom can also be assigned to accommodation unit OPLP 4-6 p. (for a description and photos, see the advertisement of Het Charging Point 8-12 p.). That way, a party of e.g. 5 people can have 3 bathrooms and one bedroom each. Guest access In the General Jacquesstraat you can park for a maximum of 2 hours with the use of the parking disc. Loading and unloading is usually in front of the door. Free long term parking is available at the nearby city edge parking "Beerstblote". Other things to note The guests are responsible for the layout of the beds, all of which are single beds. The mattresses are exquisite, as are the pillows and down comforters. Bed linen (pillowcases, bottom sheets and covers for down comforters) and bath towels can be provided by the guests themselves, either by bringing them themselves or by calling on our partner laundry St.Jan. Realize that the charging point is located in the built-up area. Making excessive noise that can interfere with the neighbors is out of the question.
