Wisteria Treehouse is an elevated camping structure designed to imerse you in nature. The lower deck hosts a 13' bell tent with cots and camp matresses. Being off the ground keeps the tent drier and invites a nice breeze. The Treehouse itself is a renovated hunting blind turned into a sheltered spot relax and take in the view. Secluded on a private 2.5 acre lot in the corner of a specialty bird farm. Guinea Fowl will wander by at times as they make their rounds. Newly added N64+Mariokart The space The bell tent has 4 cots with camp matresses and an additional 2 cots storesd in the treehouse. The tent sleeps 6-8 without cots or 4-5 on cots. Guests are welcome to pitch their own tents and/or move the cots around as they like. The treehouse is located on a 2.5 acre lot of wisteria covered trees with a 3/4 acre clearing. There is a gravity fed shower is located behind the treehouse and the porta potty is 150 foot walk. Solar panels provide power for lights, charging, wifi, a projector, and some rechargable fans. The treehouse itself is insulated and there is a small Mr. Buddy propane heater inside. Bring your own sleeping bags, coolers, and camping cooking gear. Great location to camp and spend the day enjoying the beach. Kayak or SUP to Rigby island, fish the inlets, or lounge on the sand. TheFarm is 18 acres of forest and field on the middle peninsula 1 mile from beaches on the bay bay. There are roming Guinea fowl and other birds ready to greet you. This site is tucked into the back edge of 3 acres of wisteria covered trees and bushes. There are currently no other sites in this 3 acres, no neighbors, no houses, just nature. The toilet is a short walk and is shared with a site that is another 200 yard beyond it. Guest access 4 miles to shopping in Mathews VA and 1 mile to the beaches. 15 miles to beautiful Gwyn's Island, near the center of the Mathews Blueway kayak trail. Other things to note Haven Beach is 1 mile away, Aaron's beach is 1 mile away. Gwen Island is 15 miles away. Explore the Mathews Blueway water trail by kayak. there is a local company that Rents kayaks, delivered to you. There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards. These items are shared and "first come first served" All guests are welcome to come meet/feed the Guineas and chickens. I'm more than happy to tell you some interesting facts and see if any bird will tolerate being held. (contact me to get it set up and waiting) I also have 1 man hammock tents (4) for $10 each a stay.
