Five minutes from the house is Long's horse riding and trekking centre, with guided tours of the locality which caters from beginners to the more experienced riders. Within a short drive of Slea Head the most South Westerly point in Ireland next stop being 'America'. It is also where Ryan's Daughter and Far and Away was filmed.
