There are many other interesting places to visit nearby including the unique Dungeness, one of the largest shingle landscapes in the world. It is now a National Nature Reserve with a rich and diverse wildlife. Romney Marsh known for its natural beauty, the diversity of its habitats, rich history, and its sheep is another ideal place to explore. In addition Rye Harbour also has a Nature Reserve. A little further afield, you'll find Bodiam Castle and Battle – amazing historic sites to visit.
