The 8'x16' "large wooden tent" features a cozy queen sized bed (BYOBedding) with a super comfortable mattress to nestle up in. It has its very own fenced yard landscaped with edible and medicinal plants in ground and in containers. It is a nature filled space with a full view from inside of my Rabbit Village (bunnies and chickens) and includes birds nesting on the roof, and a family of stripey gophers beneath you! Shared flushing outhouse, no running water in the pod. Whispering Winds features four, each unique, gl/camping pods located just 3 blocks from downtown Spring Valley. Compare to a state park cabin (bring your own bedding, clean up after yourself, be self-reliant), the price point they are at, and you will be thrilled. Do not go into the pasture as Athena will attack you and she is a very large goat with horns she knows how to use! I have a Whimsically Wild landscape which is Permaculture that has matured, if it looks like you shouldn't go there, then you should probably not go there. :-) Guests are invited to get drinking water at the main house. It is centrally located between Rochester, Austin and Bluff Country's premiere tourist town of Lanesboro. It is also very close to Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park and Lake Louise State Park. Great hunting, fishing, fossil hunting, bicycling, motorcycling, snowmobiling, hiking, horseback riding and more! An outdoor paradise! This is a Private Camp, NOT a campground. It is totally PRIVATE. No dealing with other people, their taste in music, loud parties, family squabbles or something that belongs to you walking off. It is a private retreat for just you and your family and friends. Inviting friends to your site is $10 per person per 4 hours extra fee unless you clear it with Beverly first. Firewood available for $5 a 5 gallon bucket full of split wood when available. :-)
