In 2020, SunRaven was fitted with a large roof-top solar array that provides all of the electrical power used annually, including a TESLA EV charger. The gas generator was replaced with an eco-friendly battery back-up system that guarantees back-up power under any circumstance. Our south facing 60 foot balcony is sun-drenched from sunrise to sunset and offers breath-taking ocean views of the Gulf Islands and snow-capped Olympic Mountains. You can spend the day with a good book, or just watch the tidal ocean currents, the passage of sailboats and ferries, and the ever-changing hues of the wind on the water. Our in-ground swimming pool with it's large sun deck is open June - September. Or enjoy a walk through our forested hillside. When you're ready, Pender Island offers art galleries, local winery and cidery, bistros and restaurants, golf and disc golf. Or wildlife reserves, deserted beaches and beautiful forest hiking trails.
