Adare is located just 40 minutes drive from Shannon airport. A flower garden and courtyard enhance Summer enjoyment while the cosy interiors create a special atmosphere of warmth and comfort during the winter. We are happy to book the Cottage for extended family stays. Access to your own orchard at the rear of the properties allows guests to relax and pick organic apples when in season. There is a large enclosed area all around the property which makes it very secure for children. Nearby, a working farm offers the opportunity to see farm animals and wildlife in their natural habitat. Access to the property is through security gates, for added peace of mind. Adare has two superb golf courses including the championship Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort, which hosted the Irish Open in 2007 & 2008 and the upcoming Ryder Cup. Also the world-famous Ballybunion Golf Course is only an hour's drive away. An excellent Pitch & Putt course is also located in Adare. The Thatch Cottage is centrally based to explore Ireland.
